Status Report: 9/26/06

Summary:
Life is good, making new friends, falling into a happy routine at work, receiving the validation and friendship of my coworkers, making money, exercising and staying pretty healthy. Oh, and the plaugue is over. The flies have disappeared since we started scrupulously cleaning the crevices that were growing mildew. Now our apartment is virtually insect free. Our apartment is even better now that our bedroom is actually a room with beds! I've been sleeping so good...It fucking rocks...

Details:
Friday night was another uneventful night of bumming around. Saturday I got some freelance work done. Saturday night me and Seiji went to a film festival where we met some cool people. Sunday woke up late, Seiji found out he didn't have work, we went to lunch with his brother and sisters. From there we went to the beach. It was gorgeous. The pier was had an aquarium in it with really cool tropical fish and sharks and such. We then went and got a Costco membership and bought a bunch of stuff in bulk then went and bought are beds at IKEA. Worked Monday received a nice compliment on my work two days in a row from my coworker. Feeling more socially at ease at work. Spun Monday night. Work. Tonight I watched a Wong kar Wai film called "Happy Together". It was so gay. ... I mean that literally. It was about the mutually destructive relationship between these two gay guys from Hong Kong that get stuck in Argentina. Lovely cinematography by Christopher Doyle, delicate directing and performance by Won Kar Wai and Tony Leung. Special thanks to Rebecca to giving me a ton of quality movies.
