home again.

I tend to write in my blog when I'm visiting my parent's house and desperately trying to find things to do on the internet. Here I am again. It's spring break. It feels really good allowing yourself to forget your responsibilities for a while. It's been a really packed few days:

On thursday we had APS during which I was somewhat nervous because I knew Tim was talking shit about me to our instructor but to my relief and to the indulgence of my more spiteful tendencies; she didn't confront me at all and his complaints were entirely dismissed. Friday, I dropped 300 dollars on a Klipsch 5.1 speaker system to improve the sound of our biggest party to date. That evening our party went extremely well. Our DJs included Rebecca, Mike, Franky, Greg and I. This time we also had a bar setup and rotated bartending duties. I learned to make (and as the night progressed, I got faster at making) French Martinis, Martinis, Atlantiques, and Purple Hazes. It was hectic but I enjoyed it. "The greatest pleasure is giving pleasure" as they say... >_o.

Yesterday, me, Seiji, and Difranzo skated at the rusty skate park in Elmhurst. It was nice. When we left, Seiji couldn't find his wallet and we searched everywhere. He even canceled his reported his credit card as lost. (In actuality I'm fucking blind and didn't search enough under the passnger side seat.) When we got back to the apartment and I was collecting my things I found Seiji's wallet at my feet. Seiji said something to the effect, "I should lose my wallet more often, I'm so happy now." A person's happiness really is relative to the moment before.
